By late July, the light softened and the air became still, inviting her back to her happiest place: surrounded by blooms, immersed in nature, and painting beneath the open sky.
The contours of summer flowers gathered from her own garden are subtly interwoven with the memory of Dover in June, where a distant seascape lingers softly in the background.
Her brushwork carries both freedom and tenderness, balancing bold, expressive movement with the intricate textures of impasto. Each hand-mixed colour settles into the canvas with emotion and intention.

With design and film background, Shizico combines her interests making installation projects which relate to artist's personal life in relation to the society and human condition at large.
Shizico Yi holds a PhD in Fine Art awarded by UEL, UK 2017; she had completed a Master in Fine Art with a BA in Womenswear from UAL. London. She is also the Winner of Women Film Makers: Best Shorts Competition 2013 Los Angels. USA.
